EL8315
EL8315 is a Gigabit media converter that complies with the IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ standard, delivering up to 90W of power. It is suitable for high-power devices such as PTZ speed dome cameras, IP cameras, and wireless access points. The device features a Power Delivery Reset (PDRST) function, which can be enabled via a DIP switch. When a system anomaly is detected, users can simply reinsert the SFP module to automatically reboot the powered device (PD) remotely, eliminating the need for on-site intervention. This significantly reduces labor costs and enhances maintenance efficiency.
The EL8315 also supports Link Fault Pass Through (LFPT). When the LFPT is enabled, LFPT provides constant monitoring of the links connected to the media converters. If either of the copper links fails, the media converter will pass the fail state on throughout the link, taking down the middle fiber link as well as the copper link on the opposite end. The SFP port supports 100M / 1G transmission speeds and includes Auto-Negotiation and Auto-MDIX features, simplifying installation and cabling.
Designed with a fanless architecture, the EL8315 operates reliably within a wide temperature range of -40°C to 75°C, making it ideal for harsh environments such as outdoor deployments, traffic surveillance, telecom rooms, and industrial automation. It supports DIN rail mounting, allowing easy integration into control cabinets and enclosures. The EL8315 is an ideal media converter solution for extending Ethernet networks while providing stable, high-power PoE.
