Latest Gigabit Hardened PoE Unmanaged Ethernet Switch Series from EtherWAN Makes Network Expansion Easier and More Economical

EtherWAN’s has launched both industrial and hardened version of the OttoE PoE unmanaged 8 to 10port 10/100/1000BASE Ethernet switch - TG103 & TG103H series, an ideal option for edge connectivity in fields where robust hardware performance is required but management features are not needed.
The OttoE PoE series is a hardened unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switching platform, designed for easy deployment in harsh environments with limited space. It is a low-cost, easy-to-use device that combines essential industrial Ethernet networking functionality with rugged performance.
It supports 46 to 57VDC redundant power input, as well as a relay alarm for power redundant failure. The OttoE is equipped with eight Gigabit PoE copper ports, or a combination of four or eight Gigabit PoE copper ports and two dual rate 100/1000Mbps SFP ports for long distance connectivity. PoE compliance with protocol IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 that supports 90W per port, combined with a total power budget of 270 Watts, enables support for almost all powered devices on the market.
This versatile switch features full/half-duplex auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDIX operation, allowing for convenient connection of a variety of network devices. QoS (Quality of Service) support allows for both Ethernet/IP and Profinet traffic prioritization and effective management of resources, prioritizing certain traffic when it comes to bandwidth, delay, jitter and loss. A rugged, DIN rail mountable metal housing provides security and easy installation (mounting kit is included).
A built-in watchdog feature supports the OttoE PoE switch as an intelligent device to prevent packet loss from powered devices in the network. The feature can be enabled per port via DIP switch to enhance the feature flexibility.
