FAQ

Why can my camera only operate at 10Mbps in half duplex mode after extended mode in 250m PoE switch is enabled?

Answer:

The switch will be configured into force mode when extended mode is enabled. If the camera is set to auto-negotiation mode, it will switch to half duplex mode due to its incapability of negotiating with force mode.

Hence, setting up the camera with "force-10Mbps full duplex" will help it to operate at full duplex mode during data transition.

The maximum available transmission distance of PoE depends on PD and PSE negotiation result. Some PDs using EtherWAN PoE/PSE switches may only support a standard distance of 100 meters.
