EtherWANのEX24402は16個10/100BASE-T PoEポートと2個100/1000 SFPコンボ 光ポートを装備する19インチラック規格の管理型イーサネット・スイッチです。またIEEE 802.3af PoE ポートは1ポートあたり15.4Wを搭載しており、全ポート合計最大195Wまでの電力を供給し、様々な端末設備(IPカメラ、無線アクセスポイント、VoIPなど)も対応しています。
リング構成の1ルートが遮断されても15ms以内で自動復帰するAlpha-RingというEtherWAN独自リングプロトコルを搭載し、ポート セキュリティ、IGMPスヌーピング、VLANs、GARPプロトコルとリンク集合などの管理機能をブラウザ経由で設定可能。Telnet、SSH、SNMP、RMON、TFTP、RS-232コンソールなどにも接続できます。
