Ethernet Extender over Copper

The usual method to extend an Ethernet network beyond the 100 meter limit is to use fiber optic cable. In cases where fiber is not an option, an Ethernet extender can be used in conjunction with normal copper cables to extend an IP network. They are an economical way to connect distant locations, and the hardened specifications ensure long-term reliability even in hostile climates.
